Reflection
St. Rose of Lima is not only a patron saint of her native Peru, but also of the Philippines. When I visited the islands back in 2009, I was able to visit Magellan’s Cross in Cebu. A quote from St. Rose about the cross was very fitting with this photograph. I desaturated it to really emphasize the outline of the cross and draw out the light shining behind it.
