Offer It Up
Whether I’m having a rough day or a wonderful day, I thank God for it and offer up whatever comes of it, however feeble, because I know He can use it. He has willed either the storm or the sun of this day for my long-term benefit and I just need to trust Him.
A prayer that I love and start each day with is based off of the words Mary spoke to Lucia in her July 1917 apparition in Fátima, Portugal:
“Make sacrifices for sinners, and say often, especially while making a sacrifice: O Jesus, this is for love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.”—Our Lady of Fátima, July 13, 1917
The prayer I say is:
O my Jesus, I accept and bear with submission whatever crosses God permits in my life today, for love of You, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
