When we feel under siege, we can take refuge in the tower of the Lord, rather than vainly attempt to build a tower of our own.
Beyond that, we can take refuge in His tower all the time, not just in times of distress! This is more indicative of our willingness to befriend God, and conforms our will more to His will; since He is always with us, so too should we always will to be with Him.
